Many conlang [constructed language] projects begin with a simple premise that violates the inherited conventions of linguistics in some new way. Aeo uses only vowels. Kēlen has no verbs. Toki Pona, a language inspired by Taoist ideals, was designed to test how simple a language could be.

Much of the free-to-play model is coming over from Asia – and there were actually a stack of really good games that came over – but people just sort of dismissed them as just crappy. Most people didn’t actually look at them. In Asia free-to-play has been prevalent for years, but now you’re starting to see these games get popular all over the globe.
